This TSB article is being republished in its entirety to include 1992-94 vehicles with heated backlites.

ISSUE:

An inoperative electric rear window defroster (heated backlite) may be caused by bond separation of the pigtail terminal to bus bar or broken grid lines.

ACTION:

Use a rear window defroster service kit to repair pigtail connections, Figure 1 and grid line breaks, Figure 2.
