my motor is shot if i find a good engine from say a 91 or 92 will that just drop in or is it only the bottom end that will work?

I beileve any 5.0 from 86-95 will bolt right in. I think there some minor differenence like headers, intake elbow, and pulleys but im not sure.

anyone with more info please

86-93 would fit, i personally wouldnt get the 86 since the heads do restrict the HP to 200 the later years 87-93 should have 225hp 300ft.lbs but other than that they should be the same.

Wouldn't 94 fit as well?

the 94-95 is the same other than a couple minor things, should go in the car fine.

you will have to swap your accessories onto the new motor along with your intake manifold.

but since you have an SN-95... why dont you go for a 351w swap
