GOD YES!!!! Even with the slower old 3.8's you can still take out a SCION!!! If you couldnt well then I would say sell the stang. Scions are terribly slow...

Well as long as he is an auto, then you'll toast him, if he has a manual, and is a decent driver, he may win, or at least give you a good run for the money. Damn I've never been able to race one of those, hell, I've never even seen one around here, but I have beaten the crap out of a Scion XB before.[8D]

Well in case you guys didn't notice he's talking about a tc which is faster than a xb but not by much I think they do 0-60 in 8.4 seconds were as the xb does it in 9.2

Watch out. The Scion Tc has the 2.4 and is no slouch. But you should still be able to take him. UNLESS, he has the TuRD turbo they make for it. If he's got the turbo..he'll take YOU!

Close. They are more often compared with a Celica. But the 2.4 they use are a little more tuned. And the Tc is a light car. So the power to weight ratio is pretty damned good.

what I meant was that the Tc shares the same platform as a 4cl camry. at least that's what one of my coworkers says.

the tC actually replaced the celica, and it actually shares a bunch of parts with the old lexus IS300 i believe. tCs have 160 HP and do 0-60 in like 7.5 seconds and the quarter in high 15s
