Default 05 GTO

I dynoed at 296.5 rwhp with no mods besides the TB from ym sig. I forget how much torque I made but with my following mods im guessing I now have somewhere around 320 rwhp. I want to beat a stock 2005 GTO, it has me in the hp category (400 crank) but i think it weighs more (3725 lbs) and I might be able to get him with torque (but I doubt it). If I raced him right now, who would win?

This kid is cocky and Im not going to lose to him; ive got a forged shortblock coming in march and with it will come 13 psi of boost and a racing tune but I just want to know if I really need to wait for the new mods to beat him or not. BTW: hes a good driver and Im decent at shifting but I cant launch (NO traction out of the hole)

I hope you win, but I dont think you will. Those LS2's are just to damn quick.

what type of dyno? In either case I have to call BS on those numbers, the dyno must not be calibrated correctly or something. Most people say they don't get any gains from a TB, yet you are claiming ~30rwhp? Sounds way off to me.

He said he dynoed about 296.5 with just a t/b and with the other mods in his sig, he is guessing about 320rwhp. Check his sig and rewrite what you wrote.

That's 296 at the wheels for a supercharged 2002 V8 Mustang? Did I read that right?

Yeah, that sounds pretty weak to me too.
