I respect the rx-7's and supras but that might be just about it for imports maybe a TT 240sx or a 300zx here and there :]

I drive an import on a daily basis....I love it. It's nice and comfortable, it's even decently peppy. I don't know why a lot of you guys hate imports. I, personally, just hate rice.

I don't know why anyone with less than 500ci would brag about displacement, and even then the whole replacement for displacement thing doesn't carry much weight anymore.

I was working my way through this long thread. Don't sell small engines off, ask anyone who has been dusted off by an Omni GLHS. I think the link is dead now, but Gary Donovan had some video of his Reliant with a 2.2L Turbo blowing off a highly modded Supra turbo. He was turning in the 10s with it, and using an automatic too! I have bagged a few GTs with my own K car convertible, they are a very cheap engine to build and are about as reliable as a Ford V8 too. I like to dust the ricers, but will not mess with an obviously well prepped import, some of their engines are quite good, you just have to rev them a bit. The funniest site I ever saw was some kid in 350 Nova years ago get absolutely left by a big 4dr Mercedes-Benz. It was a 300SEL 6.3. Not real loud, just fast.
