I'm wondering if anyone call tell me the quarter mile times for a stock v6. Or even better if there is a website or somethin' that lists 'em. I'm wondering how my car would do against a Celica GT. Thx

Go to v6mustangs.com on the right side ull see 1/4 times and it will show the year and mods, with the 1/4 mile time. I dont think u can beat a celica gt unless its less than a 94

You got the GT models licked stock for stock, Stick to racing the GT-S model, it'll give you more of a surprising bang for your buck.

I've got a 2000 V6 Mustang and I'm glad to see it would beat the Celica GT. Some guy's been buggin' me that his Celica GT is quicker and I told him no way. He mentioned weight as a big factor, and a Mustang 5-speed coupe is 3071lbs and the Celica GT (manual) is 2425. But the Mustang's 190hp vs the Celica's 140hp more than makes up for the weight, as each horse in the stang has less lbs to pull. But the biggest thing in my opinion is that the stang has 220 ft-lbs torque while the Celica has 120. Anyways sorry for the long post but I like lookin at the numbers. Just bugs me when someone sees that my car is 'just' a V6 Mustang and therefore crap. Not to bash the Celica, but I'd much rather have my V6 any day of the week.

You'd only beat my Saturn by 2/10 of a second. Not much to brag about for either of us

Actually man, for a saturn...thats quick...you got yourself one hell of a sleeper...if I street raced and came upon you i'd be extremely surprised as you pulled right along side of me.

The stock time for a 5 speed DOHC saturn is around 16.5....I'm running 15.7 with only $200 on it.

Not fast, but it's fun to drive and saves gas.
