The CAI will allow for more air to flow into the engine. K&N and MAC are 2 of the good ones for the 6ers.

Correct with this exception...CAI="Cold" Air Intake ...cooler the air the more oxygen

all brands are going to give you basically the same gains. any major name brand will be a sure bet. be careful with the no-name ones. some people have reported issues getting them installed.

Yeah, I've heard people say they bought some no name brand off ebay, and they found out that the thing stopped flowing at like 4500 rpms. Stick with name brands.

That and probably 90% of the no name brands aren't smog legal. Be sure the CAI you choose is 50 state approved for emissions. In Cali, it MUST come with a C.A.R.B. sticker.
