I have a 95 Mustang GT and I am trying to remove the CD player..could ANYONE tell me how exactly to do this without the din tools? Thanks!

in my 93 (it might be different) i just pulled and moved it around till it gave...dunno if theyre all like that though.

nah, this one is a little different...you need a special tool..but i was wondering what else i could use besides this tool..?

cut the straight part of a coat hanger into 6 inch pieces, bend each into a horseshoe to align with the holes on the front of your face. press into the holes gently untill you feel it hit the internal clips.. press the coat hanger pieces out toward the doors and pull.. should slide out.. my have to wiggle it

ohhhhhhhhhhhh man i did the same **** it took me two hours when i had to force it out. if u buy the mustang book at any strauss or car store it shows u that there is a special tool for it. when u look at the radio u can see four holes (or two cant remember) but there is a special tool that sticks these to long rods inside those holes and pulls it out easy. Two hours of my life wasted when the solution was 5 bucks
