Good to see where us svo owners can get togather and talk about our cars, how many svo people are there out there. What year and anything big u've done to it?

jedquist -> RE: SVO forum (2/17/2004 2:06:33 AM)

im new to the site, so sorry for the late post. anyway i currently own two fox bodied mustangs, a dark green 1992 5.0l lx hatchback automatic, and a 1984 canyon red svo. so far the mods on the svo are pretty tame... i bought it from the original owner who had a stock 1986 rear gear set installed 3.73(stock for 1984 is 3.55), and a stock 1986 cam(supposed to be more agressive). he had all this done in 1986 when the stuff came out. for now thats it, but i already have an 1987 tc intercooler, 35lb injectors, and la3 computer from the same car. it should upgrade from stock 1984 175 h.p. to close to 1986 h.p. of 205. ive also added a dual fan an shroud set-up from the tc, and am hoping to find a complete serpentine belt conversion out of a 1987-1993 2.3l mustang. anyways enough about my car what do you have done to yours?

DaveAllred -> RE: SVO forum (2/20/2004 11:34:23 AM)

Im really not sure, but i am having probelms with the svo right now, yesterday i replaced the IAC and today i gotta buy a feul pressure tester and prolly get a new fuel pressure regulator.

jedquist -> RE: SVO forum (2/26/2004 3:19:01 AM)

do you know what kind of fmic i can use in my svo without having to cut, or without having to change the radiator or cooling fans?

DaveAllred -> RE: SVO forum (2/26/2004 12:17:21 PM)

DonaldJP -> RE: SVO forum (7/23/2005 10:30:22 AM)

Hey I am new to this forum. I have a 1985 SVO that I am in the process of restoring right now, last owner really abused the hell out of the car. I bought it off of him for $250 (he really didn't know what he had) about 2 years ago. But just really now started working on it. So far I got the interior pulled out, and the engine torn down. Going to take my time on it, and do it right. Probably will do alot of modifications to it. There are some pics of it on my website, if you want to see it.

(Well, know I have to find a cylinder head for it, since it is cracked) Hopefully I can find one for a good price.)

DonaldJP -> RE: SVO forum (7/27/2005 5:00:15 PM)

I have to get a new head for my SVO, since the one on it is cracked. I was thinking about getting one of the Essliger Aluminum Cylinder Heads. Do you think it would be worth the money. It comes with a cam and everything. I think it is about $1100.

Donald

DRAGPAK -> RE: SVO forum (7/27/2005 7:54:21 PM)
