I would like to get a new CarFax on my 93 WWW convertible clone.
The crook that sold it to me from Pittsburg managed to get it re-titled in PA from NC. He stted it had not been in a major accident. Pure BS.
The car should have had a salvage title. Do NOT buy a car on ebay from anyone in PA. PA uses title agents that pay off the DMV to get totalled cars clean titles. And Car Fax does NOT pick them up. Thanks for your offer. 1FACP44E8PF151171

But i still do not understand why it says cobra GT when it is only GT. I get what you are saying with the numbering but it still should say only GT right? i mean that would make my insurance higher if it says cobra in there which it does.
I don't know if carfax will go back that far But I lost my 65 when I was parked at my buds shop. I't was in parts and one day it was gone. I never did anything about it cause I had no place to put so I just forgot about it.

My 93 convertible just says "5.0 LX". The GT and Cobra GT are the same basic car. I had not thought about the insurance angle but I would think that comprehensive/fire/theft and repair costs would likely be the same $$$ for either. Insurance may group them together. State Farm does not seem to penalize me for the 5.0 in the LX but unless I did a quote for a 93 GT with same coverage, I would not realize the ratings difference.
Even the feature cars (Triple White, Yellow, etc.) in 93 come up as plain 5.0 LX on CarFax despite the limited production numbers.
