Can anyone give me the specifics of swapping an auto tranny for a manual for a 89 5.0? By specifics I mean estimated cost, time, difficulty, what is involved in it, what parts do I need? Also does anyone know where I might be able to find something on the web to help, like instructions?

cost depends on who you get parts from,time? how much do you know? and parts that i can help heres your list, trans (duh) pilot bearing. 50 oz. flywheel. clutch/press.plate/throwout bearing. clutch fork and bell housing dont forget the plate between bell housing and motor. clutch cable/quadrant. clutch pedals (have fun installing with dash in car) shifter/boot to floor/cousole trim for manual. auto driveshaft will work. wire from by your kick panel to trans tunnel need to take out drivers seat and lift carpet. 5 speed computer.

I got in an accident with my 4 cylinder, which is a manual, is there anything I can get off it? I know some of the parts won't work due to the fact it's a 4 cylinder.
