Not to down the sixers (i have a 98 v6, 5speed) but i feel like i'm wasting my time. and i almost dont want to put anymoney into the car. its a bummer cuz its hard to find performance parts for the sixes. i want to buy a single turbo kit or TT kit for the 3.8 but ive only found 1 site TMAturbo.com that makes it for our cars. But then (not to say i really really know what im talking about but) the blocks cant really handle the power and dont really make all that much impressive power anyway. i dunno what do you guys think? im just bumming myself out cheer me up guys.

RPM outlet also makes turbos, as for the block not being that strong, the essex block is stronger then the V-8 block, someone over at VMP tuning is running 17 psi through a stock motor
you can make that 6 very fast, it's just going to cost money, just like any other car. buy a turbo, forge your bottom end, 10k later, you're killing 99-06 GTs. if you want to play, you have to pay.

Yea dude, stock 98s are very slow, hell I have an auto and I know how you feel, but you already have an edge up by having a 5 speed, I say get a cai, 25% reduction uderdrive pulleys, a true dual exhaust setup, a tuner, a short throw shifter, maybe a performance clutch, and then the T/C, dude you'll be kicken ass then, hell 14s in the 1/4 shouldn't be that hard to hit after you do those mods, then maybe a set of gears and you'll be modestly fast, but I do highly reccommend putting some forged internals in your engine just to be on the safe side, and hell, at least you'll know the engine components are new and made for power. But yea, you're looking at anywhwere between 5-10K to make her fast, but it's quite worth the investment if you're willing.
You can definiteyl make that V6 fast, but as everybody else said you have to "Pay 2 Play." There are a lot of V6's putting out 300 and 400 horsepower. I was in the same boat as you, but I took the easy way out and got a faster car instead of trying to make my V6 Mustang fast. Good luck.
