Default Port N Polish

Is there any substantial gain from a port and polish on a mustang? Got the tools to do it, just wonderin if anyone else has done this to their stang and if it was worth the trouble.

for your 98 GT, it would be pointless as the intake ports are so small pee wee herman couldn't fit himself in one of them. your best bet is to pick up a set of PI heads cams and intake, and do a port and polish job and install. working with the stock 96-98 heads is pointless, as they also have an insufficient valvetrain. <edited><editID>BCisme</editID><editDate>38031.9273032407</editDate></edited>

Unshroud your valves.....the gains that can be had from that alone are rediculous.

unshrounding the valves and bowl blending should be left up to a exp. person....it will have a big affect on hp if done right if not it will run worst (slower)
