Typical Forum-type web site.......lots of people whining about a bunch of crap that they/we/you/me can't do anything about anyway. I just joined up so I could see production pix of the new Mustang, get some pricing and some specs. Ford pulled off the retro-modern look again(re: T-bird) and I think the Mustang is a beautiful car. Butt is a little big, though! I was in Jr High when Mustang first came out, and all thru the 60's I couldn't afford one. But by george, I can now!! If they're as cool in person, I'll be the first on my block!!

Took first big step last week! Sold my 69 Vette, now have signifigant $$ to put down on that new Mustang GT which will soon be luxuriating in my garage!! The Vette really wasn't at home anyway with 2 Broncos, a ZX2, and an Escape!!

Nope!! Not crazy!! I will no longer own ANY GM product!! After a 69 Olds 442, the 69 Vette and 68 El Camino, I don't need the hassle!! While all were pretty, classic cars, lovely to look at, they were PIECES OF ****!! Couldn't just hop in and drive somewhere, cause you never knew if you'd get back!! Thanx, but I'll stick to Ford and anything German from now on!!

I hear ya, everytime I've ever gotten in a car that's nearly 40 years old and hasn't been taken care of I get worried too. Sheesh, what is this world comeing to. Oh ya, I typically judge things by 35 year old products also.....
Those 2005's are about as nice as I ever would have expected. Ford seems to have the retro idea down. A lot better then those damn PT cruisers and their pathetic PT Turbo. those things have 225hp and only run a 17.4 1/4mile.
