2006gtstick

Yesterday I was on my way home on a not-so-busy 4-lane doing about 40 mph. Dude pulls beside me in fast lane in a new charger r/t. I roll down window about half way, give him the go-ahead sign. He immediately floors it, i was'nt prepared 'in third gear', i immediately downshift to second, by now he has about 3 car lead. by the time we hit 60 i was right beside him. 80 had a
2-3 car lead. 100 about 5-6 cars. I let off at 125-130 had him by about 9-10 cars.

yeah those chargers are some fat boys... The SRT8 is rated at 425 hp and supposedly runs a low 13... ... The only run in ive had with those Dodge series was agst a bada** Srt8 Magnum, that thing hauled serious arse... for a station wagon . +1 on the trying to run against one of em though (The chargers)

Nice kill. Yeah the r/t model would be an easy kill for v8 stangs. Now the SRT 8 on the other hand would be a different story, as mentioned before, low 13 1/4.

blew one off the raod two nights ago in SD. i was taking my 95 Stang for a cruse and saw it about three hundred yards a head of me. I slip in behind him and he floored it. I had the feeling the sucker was going to try to steal on me, so when I slipped in behind him, I was in third and boost was already to go. I took it to 5000 RPMs and slammed fourth. I am think he had an automatic, if so, i feel cheated. In fourth, i blew past him at 125, I pulled him for about eight cars… then I stepped up a notch and floored it in fifth. in my Stang, fifth is a slow pull, but the supercharger sure helps... lol. I stopped pulling at 140… coasted to 80. When he caught up to me… the driver had his head down and did not even give me the honor of smiling at him. I feel cheated.
