Please tell me they're not putting 20" halibrands on it.

I suppose it's just a show car for the time being, isn't it? It looks a tad funny. But it's got serious potential for being an awesome looker.

go there for alot more pictures....they are very nice.  (1967 ones) of the new one (2005) I've only seen that one.

Horation:  They are not putting Halibrands....they are Edelbrocks (I know they look like Halibrands)  --  ...and I do believe that they are putting them on the 2005 eleanor version.

Nice looking wheels, I just hope they stick with a 17 and not 20. I think large trucks with 20s look like cartoons, let alone a car. And they do nothing for the performance.

yeah...I'm definitely hoping they don't put anything bigger than 18s on.....--  those 20"+ wheels look like steam rollers.....  there are a few of those around where I work and they just look awful....

I have 16s on my stang, but will have to convert, cause I don't have brakes in the rear and I have 4 lugs.  I'm going to convert , but that will mean ALOT of bucks.... probably around 3500 - 4000 bucks.  (conversion, 4 wheel disc baer + wheels and tires)

I have a black stang and would like to put the new black bullit wheels on....

Yeah eventually I'd like to upgrade to 4 wheel discs and 5 lug wheels. But it was too much right now and I NEEDED to get rid of the 14" wheels that somebody put on the car NOW. :) So I got some Cobra replicas from Discount Tire for ~$150 a pop in 17x9. I'll use them until I can do the upgrade, then turn around and sell them.
I would rather have picked up a 17x8 for the front though. I originally ordered a set of 4 245/45r17 for it, but then I read a bunch of people were rubbing with lowered cars on the 245s so I switched the fronts to 225, and they're a tad skinny for the wheels. :(

Whoever had my car before me lowered the crap out of it, if I wanted to put my hand on the top part of the tire I would have to twist my fingers from below the fender....It must be lowered at least 3 inches...I don't like it cause is rubs and for me to make a u-turn i have to slide the rear.

My car's lowest part is 3.25 inches from the tarmac. --  I want a lowered car, but DAMN not that low.  --  when I get my suspension/coil-overs I'm just going to lower it by 1" from stock front and about 7/8" from stock at the rear.  --

I'm putting 245s in the front with the 17"wheels and 275 (or bigger) at the rear.  --  but the main reason i'm getting the 17 inchers is to accomodate the baer brakes that I plan to get...

Does anybody remember the original Elenor (the yellow '73) form the first (1970s) Gone in Sixty Seconds?  They beat the poo out of that car and it still runs today.  A true testiment to Ford durability.
