Status: offline IF anyone knows anything or knows were to find information about what is needed to do a 3.8 to 5.0 or 4.6 conversion I would greatly appreciate it. Also what are the differences in the v6 and v8 chassis.

Status: offline Go to stangparts.com they have all kinds of stuff for conversions..... auto to manual, v6 to v8 u know stuff like that... the chassis is not different... just motor mounts... maybe..

Status: offline another question on this topic, can i put a 5.0 instead of a 4.6 in a 96, 97, or 98 that previouly had the 6 cylinder

Status: offline u can put whatever u want in as long as u get the correct wiring harness... same car came with both engines at different times.... whatever u plan on it will fit...

Status: offline 4.6 has better power and it is lighter, 5.0 is just heavier but is good for bragging rights.
