There's this turbocharged Honda Prelude in my area that I see all the time.  I know it when I see it because I've run into this guy 3 times already.

First encounter: I was at a Bank One, and two Preludes pull in.  I didn't have any mods on my car.  While my friend is grabbing money from the ATM, I hear the guys start to leave and gun their engines.  I quickly flagged my friend to get in the car because I wanted to catch up with these guys .  We leave as quick as possible, and after a few stoplights I finally pull next to one of them (Red Prelude).  The light turned green and I buried the guy!  Of course, both these guys were still going down the road with us.

The guy in the Red flags the guy in the silver and points to my car.  I saw the whole thing and thought "Oh god, they're gonna do something to my car...".  Not really.  The guy in the silver pulled next to me at the stoplight and gunned his engine.  I could hear a turbocharger under there...we raced and I had him on first and second gear, but in third he eased right past me!  Then the guy in the red prelude drove by with a s**tgrin on his face...

Second encounter:  I was driving down Beach street and I see the guy in the Silver turbo Prelude pull right next to me.  He waves me to follow behind him and so I did figuring we'd race.  He seemed like he was pretty a pretty cool guy about it and wasn't one of those punk kids who thinks he's the "road king" or anything like that.  This time, I had a MAC CAI, MAC Pro chambers and race mufflers.  I had gained a lot of top end speed and had better 1/4th times... 

I followed him to the stoplight before the bridge.  Again he gunned his engine and I could hear the turbo (which actually sounds pretty wicked).  I ROARED my engine and he gave me this "WTF" look.  Light turns green.  First and second I take him.  I looked back when I was in third because I was expecting him to pass me, but he stayed a car length back at the speed I was going.  He one the first one, I got him on the second!

Third encounter:  Hasn't happened yet.  I know I'll see him again though, but next week I have a little surprise...I'm getting 4.10 gears and I'm tuning my computer with a Performance chip to adjust my speedometer, increase fuel/air ratios, and adjust the timing...my friend picked up a half a second on the quarter mile with this setup......
