Thats right folks. Paperwork was finalized today in Florida. My buddy drove the car to his house and said it is flawless. Fastest thing he has ever driven. He is going to try to drop it off at the Shippers tomorrow or no later than Monday. Man I can't wait!!! Going to take about 30 days to Hawaii.

He told me he didn't even get all in it. It does light up the tires in the video on one of the passes if you listen to it.

UPDATE: Car was dropped off at the shipping company today. It should be on the truck today or tomorrow on it's journey to it's new home. I will track it online.

My buddy said that 4 cars were broken into last night in his neighborhood. Luckily the cobra wasn't touched.

Now comes the wait game.

Its on its way! Car is finally in transit. If it reaches the port by the 5th will be on the boat by the 8th on its way to Hawaii.

:lol: Got a laugh out of that. I have been a mustang finatic for a long time. This is the 8th one I have owned. I am actually a Admin guy by trait, but at my rank I manage the Network Control Center here in Hawaii and am the Funcational Manager for my career field for the base.

If the car makes the boat on the 11th, it will be here the 18th...otherwise, 2 weeks after that.

Car was dropped off at Long Beach. I am awaiting to see if the boat has room. If so it will go out on the 11th, otherwise it will be there another week. I find out on Monday.

i also know what its like to wait on a car, im in korea and i boght my GT in the fall, i havent seen it yet, im having it shipped to DM, where im gonig to be stationed. the car is in MA right now.

Don't know anybody in AIS...of course, I just got to Honolulu...don't know too many people here.

Car is in Long Beach now. If the boat is not full, it will go out on the 11th. I will find out on Monday.

Finally some good news...I really needed it.

It made it on the boat Saturday. It will be here NLT Thursday evening depending on the weather on the ocean. I will be able to pick it up as early as Friday or as late as Monday. Either way I am stoked! :) :D

Can't wait to apply the first coat of wax!!

Thanks all. I can't wait until it arrives. My search for a cobra has been ongoing since November. I went through two internet deals falling through and a dealership that was trying to rip me off before I found this one. I just hope it arrives in as good as condition as it left. :)

Man I don't know how you are staying calm there is no way I could buy a car and wait as long as you have to get it. I'm guessing there is no Terminators in Hawii because you are going thru all of this to get one over there.

There are Terminators here but they cost a forture...limited supply here. I found a beat up 03 for $31K and a mystic 04 for $36K. I got mine here with shipping for $31K.

Got the car today and I am so impressed. It is so clean and runs like a raped ape. I did go ahead and buy tires for the front. They were a little too bald for me. I will get them put on tomorrow. I have already had several compliments and I have only owned it for a day. :) I am taking it on a cruise tomorrow. Maybe I can post up some pictures.
