I've got a newer modeled TRAXXAS Rustler with a modded 2.5r engine and it's SCARY fast. I can not keep the tires from spinning on pavement let alone our dirt roads. The tires are about 3.5 inches wide and the walls are about 1/2 tall and at WOT they skinny up, the tire wall gets about 2 inches tall and the tire width is less than half of an inch, exactly like a funny car. I have to glue the tires with some very high strength glue to the rims so that the rims do not spin inside the tire. The engine redlines between 25,000 and 30,000 RPMs. It's a two stroke single cylinder motor running on Nitro and Alchohol (I beleive that's exactly what funny car fuel is), the lifespan of these small engines is between 13-20 gallons of fuel until you have to replace it. It has a limited slip rear end (I raised the gears) so it tops out around 65 mph with ease, I have not taken it beyond that point, it has one gear, where as some of those in the videos had two. It's awesome and I might put mine up for sale or I might start fixing it up again. I'll have to get a video of mine, it's insane.
