Default had fun with a trans am

ok so i was taking my girl home from belton going down 190 and i see a trans am ahead with atleast exhuast, so i pulled up beside him and he rolled down his window and asked me to see how fast his trans am was, cuase his speedo was broke. I said ok but i was thinkin to myself theres no way i can keep up enough to give him a very good idea, but i was wrong. Im not sure but i think it was late 80's model maybe late 70's? but anyway he floored and i just pressed it enough to keep beside him and was suprised that when i floored it i had to slow down for him! We both took the same exit and he i asked him if it was a auto and he said yea and then asked me if he should get a shift kit. Then he left, it sound mean as hell but was so slow. He wouldn't race me from a dig but oh well sry for the random babling.

If it was stock and from the late 70's, it was a dog, just like everything else from that era. Late 80's, coulda been a 305 or 350. The 350 was decent but still no match for a '99 GT, though they were torque monsters (340?).

ok that makes sense now i just couldn't believe that a slightly modded trans am couldn't hang with me. By the way he said he just had his engine and transmissin rebuilt.
