The only reason why I don't get one right now is because I don't have a garage to work in......otherwise I would be in there, tearing that thing apart and rebuilding it big time.
and that's without the Demon carb which I think would do better on that engine. -- that's a REAL crate engine, out of the box and into your car.....it's totally complete!!! not bad for $6595.00 - they can build a better one, but if it's for the street it should be plenty. 425HP maybe a little more with the Demon carb. Runs nice on pump gas, Idles good..... you can't go wrong. make sure you car is lite with a good suspension and then go munch on whatever you want.

check out their whole website...they have alot more diff. types of packages to chose from... --- from like 3K complete packages to imcomplete for less and stuff that you can do on your own.... unless you are a mechanic, have a place to work on it and do alot of the work yourself you will have to spend some bucks.... if you know ppl, have a place, do the job urself and go thru junkyards then you can probably make a decent HP making engine for a probably under 1.5K..... but you have to be willing to do ALOT yourself. -- this car hobby ain't cheap if you are not willing to do alot.

mate it with a nice tranny (t-56 if you can) t5 will do(but make sure its the 1990 and up version <z series>) , shaft(aluminium if possible to keep the weight down), rear(8.8" ), and suspension....oh, and don't forget the brakes, cause after all that your going to need powerful stuff to stop. ----

The one I showed you was the carb version, yes they have the fuel injected version also, just a little more $$. -- and yes that engine is ready to be dropped in.
go to www.enginefactory.com and visit the ford section, they have 302s to 460s. on the 302s and 351W or Cleavelands you can get either carb or EFI on the 302s and 351Ws.... Cleavelands and 460s only carb version.
how much money do you want to spend with the cost of the car included???

do you plan to spend 10 k total?? do you plan to spend 10k on the car and then spend some mula on the mods? if so, how much on the mods.....then you can decide what to put in there. -- what condition of a car do you want? inside, outside, -- do you want a project car that you can work on and develop a relationships with or just a turnkey car and if something in between then towards which side?
have you decided if it's going to be a racer only, or a street/strip or street/road or just a daily driver with some 'tude?
After you decide that, then you can know what to spend, cause you don't want a fast car you can't stop (cause it aint got brakes), or you don't want a nice paint job if the inside looks like crap, or get a great engine but not any $$ leftover to mate it to a nice tranny.... that kinda stuff.
and i want the car to be in a nice condition at least on teh outside with no rust and be able to run with out worrying about it quitrting on me. it doesnt have to be ne thing fancy.

There are 2 on EBay right now, under 10K in nice condition. One in particular that is around 7900 but the reserve is not yet met...I bet 8500 would get that one. -- needs little work and you can take the rest of the cash and make it nice. probably all for under 10 or 11K.
