The only reason why I don't get one right now is because I don't have a garage to work in......otherwise I would be in there, tearing that thing apart and rebuilding it big time.

351W with some nice heads and a demon carb - take a look at

http://www.fordcobraengines.com/351_425Carb.htm

and that's without the Demon carb which I think would do better on that engine. -- that's a REAL crate engine, out of the box and into your car.....it's totally complete!!! not bad for $6595.00 - they can build a better one, but if it's for the street it should be plenty. 425HP maybe a little more with the Demon carb. Runs nice on pump gas, Idles good..... you can't go wrong. make sure you car is lite with a good suspension and then go munch on whatever you want.

check out their whole website...they have alot more diff. types of packages to chose from... --- from like 3K complete packages to imcomplete for less and stuff that you can do on your own.... unless you are a mechanic, have a place to work on it and do alot of the work yourself you will have to spend some bucks.... if you know ppl, have a place, do the job urself and go thru junkyards then you can probably make a decent HP making engine for a probably under 1.5K..... but you have to be willing to do ALOT yourself. -- this car hobby ain't cheap if you are not willing to do alot.

It's a reliabel Engine shop....good with the BBB, excellent history, no suits of any sort..... you call, you talk, figure it all out then they build it for you.... and they test it for you. they make it REAL easy.
