xeon does sell the replacement bulbs. just go to your local car parts store and they should have them there. ask them the part number and you are set.

That is a true HID conversion kit. Go with something like that or do nothing at all. So-called "Xenon Look Bulbs" are only lookalikes that can draw up to 100 watts.....not good for your stock headlight wiring harnesses, connectors, or switch.

I have run high wattage bulbs in several vehicles, but I use a heavy duty harness run directly off the battery. I prefer the harness regardless, especially in older vehicles...

The lights with the high wattage and HD harness is much whiter than stock. Not as bright as HID, but for the money much better than stock...

Right, a heavy duty harness run directly from the battery makes high-wattage bulbs a usable option. Better quality HID conversion kits use the same approach. They power the ballasts directly from the battery via relays; the stock headlight switch and wiring is only used to open and close two relays in the kit harness

Yep...

I had this same setup in my '84 300ZX. I was only getting 10.5v to the headlights while the car was running. I just used the HD harness with the stock bulbs, and it was like night and day, literally (2 or 3 volts makes a huge difference in headlight output). I couldn't drive the car at night before. I then upgraded the housings and added high wattage bulbs, and it was even better... As mentioned above, don't run the high wattage bulbs on stock wiring, but if you want to upgrade I recommend using the HD harness and high watt bulb verses Silverstars... or HID... which I really want for the Stang...
