Default ??? about a 95 stang

Can anyone please tell me if I can remove the 95 GT 302 from the top, or does it have to go underneath? I know silly question, but I may have to remove my motor and replace it with an old 5.0, because I can‘t get the current one smoged because of the cam.

yes...my motor will come out the top. remove your hood and upper strut tower brace and then upbolt tranny and motor mounts.

change the cam
+1

it will be much faster and more cost efficient than finding a new engine, making sure its in not just working condition, but exceptable condition, and getting it hooked up.

yeah just swap the cam

i mean thats one person a couple of hours vs. two people all day to do a engine swap.

actually now that i think of it, maybe you may depending on if you gotta work with the engine out... never actually had to repace my cam, so i cant tell you if you gotta remove the engine first, or if you can just start disassembling from the top down while still in the compartment.
