Hi guys. I finally took the plunge and bought my first Saleen. So far I love it. I can't stop looking at it. I had a 03 Cobra before this. It made 460rwhp and ran a best of 11.7@122mph in the 1/4.
My question is, what would be the most cost effective way to get my Saleen in to the mid elevens, without nitrous. Thanks.

just bought a 2006 sc too....call jim junior at jdm (732-780-0770) engineering. they have a kit with pulley, injectors, cold air intake etc.. that will up the hp by 60 and they have cook stainless steel headers w or w/o cats that will give you around 25 hp. he told me with the combo set-up you will have around 470 rwhp. 1/4 times with these after market products only will be 11.7 and 11.4 with drag radials. look for a price tag around $2900.00. they also send a programmer with the kit to tune your car.

All you really need to do to get your S281sc into the 11's is swap to a smaller pulley and get it tuned. All this could be accomplished for well under $1,000.

Thanks for the info. Does the 06 have the same size injectors as the 05 S/C? From the info I've gathered I don't want to go over 10lbs of boost with my pulley swap.

but would you have to go smaller than the 3.40 pulley which is around 10psi to get the additional hp. i was told that not to go any smaller than the 3.40 pulley because the bottom end isn't built for the additional stress. also, what about the injectors and belt...would that have to be changed? i know the pulley is the biggest componet for the hp gain but the cold air intake with the new air mass flow senor probably helps along with the headers as a package while keeping the motor safe???
