Traded up my pony package v6 for an 07 Performance White GT. The V6 was a great ride but the GT flat out puts a big 'ol grin on my face every time I drive it! Here's some photos from my drive up Mount Diablo in northern CA.

Just got my new baby. 2005 GT, windveil blue, manual. Mods and a pic in signature. Considering stripes, just can't decide on color... Silver, black or blue.
finally, its here. 07 gt auto alloy metallic white stripes. 18" brushed aluminum wheels, shaker 500, black charcoal leather, interior upgrade, gahh, what else. its sick, i love it. first NEW car :-D
My wife got her Blue GT about 4 weeks ago. I work for a company that does business with Ford so I got the x-plan pricing. It was a fair price at about $50 under invoice plus I still got the incentives. Also just nice not to have to do the whole negotiating thing with the dealership.
Probably not going to do a lot of mods. She likes it the way it is plus I have a 72 Chevelle that is in the tail-end process of being restored and is in need of a big block, so thats going to be the next big auto-related purchase. I know...its not a Ford, but you guys can at least appreciate an American muscle car right?
took delivery of a 2007 torch red 5-speed manual with 3.55 gears, shaker 500 in nashville,tn. got it with 12 miles on it friday now it has almost 300. only 700 more until i can really get on it. have the tuner that i just got for my old 2006 torch v6 last week will have to get new tunes calibrated for the v8. cai coming probably within the week. any suggestion on which to go with. think i am going with doug for the tunes this time. another newbie question saleman told me these motors are only tuned for 87 octane. i ran 93 in my v6, 89 without the tune. thanks for the help.

Its not in my possesion yet, but I did leave the deposit so they are holding it for me until I come to pick it up next week.
05 GT with ~9700 miles. $22k out the door. I can get A-Plan on a new one, but they still run ~$26.5k including everything. The $4.5k difference makes the 05 a better deal to me but only because its 6yr/75,000 mile certified.
Also, just to show how glad I am to be getting a real mustang, here is my car history
1990 Mustang 4cylinder :( 1988 Honda CRX - my ricer phase 1995 Nissan Maxima 1993 Buick Century

recently purchaced 05 with 3200 miles on it and the color is STONE it is a gt but have not seen that color before on a mustang even the ford web site does not list it a optional color.
One Thursday evening a couple of weeks ago, I was on my way home from a meeting on the other side of town. As has been my frequent practice, I swung into the local Ford dealer just to see what was on the used car lot. As I pulled in to the lot, I noticed a bright red Mustang GT. I usually blow the used car guy off when he comes out to talk, but this time I was drawn to the red Mustang and got out of my truck to look at it. The sales guy it had 1300 miles on it, and asked me if I wanted to take it for a drive. I did. It was awesome! I was amazed by the power and the sound of that V8. And the red leather!! To get to the point, I came back the next day and drove it home!
This car looks brand new. I took it over to my buddy's garage and put it on the hoist. The under carraige is like new; the original owner must have kept it in the garage. First Mustang and first muscle car I've owned, and I love it! I'm still figuring it all out.
I think the wheels are not stock; I know the tires aren't. Can anyone tell me about the wheels? They have Cobra hubs, I think they might be Ford wheels.
I got my 07 Alloy GT Convertible back at the end of May. I stopped by the dealership just to see what they had on the lot. I had seen on the website where they had the one i THOUGHT i wanted. Well i got there and it wasn't there, but my beauty was. I saw it and just couldn't resist. I dealt with the guy my dad has always dealt with and was able to get it for x-plan. I drove it one night and fell in love. I was back there paying for and picking it up a couple days later. She had only 17 miles on it. It is a 5 speed with just about every option minus the shaker 1000. Mods to come when money is available as i just got a house too.
I picked up a 2007 Mustang GT Premium (5 spd.) this past weekend. It's satin silver with dark charcoal leather. It's got 3.55 rear, IUP, machined aluminum wheels. I had a 2000 Mustang GT for six years and went to a VW Jetta GLI for the past 1.5 years. The Jetta was a nice car with a very cool transmission (DSG), but it wasn’t RWD and didn't have the beautiful music of a V8 motor. I missed those traits.
Having owned the last generation mustang for six years, I can't begin to tell you how pleased I am with the S197. The interior and ride are much improved. The shifter placement and clutch petal effort got some serious attention as well.
My last mustang was heavily modified, but stayed NA. I managed a best ET of 13.79 @ 101 mph. I think my new mustang will do that stock. My plans are less radical for this one: FRPP(Supreme) or FRPP (Borla) Stinger Axle Backs, SCT XCal and C&L CAI, and maybe a MGW shifter. However, the stock shifter is not bad.
I'll probably use the stock wheels for the winter since they came with all-season tires. I don't really have to drive in the snow unless I want to. The car definitely needs a wider wheel and lower profile summer tire. Those are in the works, but not until next spring.
