NICE COLOR wthalliii (but needs to be a Vert. lol)
Thanks! I love it. I wanted Redfire, but this one had most of the other options I wanted. And I do like the color, especially now that it's mine. The wife nixed the 'vert, and she helped me pay for the car, so I had to listen to her. ( Not the only reason to listen to her. )
ok, it just came in...built on dec 20 2006, hit the dealer 1-2-2007 here is the un preped car, and it is off to the local ford racing dealer to install the power pak, x pipe, handling pak, short shifter and the big radiator (500hp ford racing super charger comming soon). as for the body, shelby hood, pins, side scoops, and center fog relocation kit...
i should pick it up today or sat morn....i can't wait!!!!
'07 redfire GT 5spd. Got Gt appearence package. Like the hood scoop and the engine intake cover. Bought at 10miles now at 1k. This is my second mustang bought and 89 5.0 brand new in 89. Finally Ford has made a true sports car with this car - great manners considering the antiquated rear suspension system. Great job with tight body. The '89 scared me with all the twisting going on( being a convertible didn't help). Not looking to do to much this car. I like the info I'm getting on the CAI and reprogrammer combos. Probably will do one of them.
Ok, it's Tuesday night, I'm getting my '07 GT, Alloy metallic color, in two days, and I have had to drink for the last two days to keep my head from exploding, I'm so excited, and I know I will need to drink even more the next day or so. It will be hard not to drink at all on Thursday, the day I pick it up, so I may get a set of depends, in case I lose control of any major bodily functions. I feel like I did the week before Christmas when I was 10 years old. I have already ordered a grill for it to relocate the fogs, aka Eleanor style, And after a moderate break in, will be installing the KB supercharger with 8lbs of boost. BTW, this forum has been a great source of information on that part, and I would like to thank all the people who posted, and of course a big TY to our humble moderators. Anyway, I am sure I will be a faithful follower of this forum from now on. I will post some pics in a few days, and maybe even throw in some old pics of my 550 HP Boss 351, which I hope will not be able to keep up with the new 'stang. Although it ran 12.80s on fat street tires, and an 8600 RPM redline. Twist, twist. But of course, old school got 4 miles per gallon...

Just picked up my Grabber Orange 07 GT last week . I have a bunch of older muscle cars, but this a very fun car to drive. Very refined muscle car. Ford did a great job. I have already installed a C&L CAI, tuned it with a 93 diablo tune and installed a set of Flowmasters on it. I havent had a chance to dyno it yet, but it feels really good.
I bought my 06 a couple of months ago. I live in Palm Springs, CA and the winters are fantastic so I've always had a bike. But since I got married and now have 3 kids I have no time to ride. So, I thought I'd sell my bike for a Z4 but they only have 2 seats. I need at least 4, my kids are still small. My bikes I've had the last 6 years have given me another injection of speed adrenalin which we are all familiar with and I love the look of the Mustang. So, I got a killer deal on a Gray 06 and intended to keep her stock. (yea right). So the list begins.....Magnapak exhaust which sounds awesome, BBK headers which only made it sound even more awesome, a Xenon hood scoop and 3d Carbon louvers by the doors. I also have a Hypertech Hyperpac, which is really just an expensive toy, a K&N Cold Air Charger and Xenon lightbulbs both for the normal lights and foglights. The interior is red which really looks bitchen with the gray and I just bought a GPS system for my new laptop for when I take a month off during the summer and cruise the states. My wife and kids visit her folks out of country so I am single for approx 6 weeks. I don't have much money but I love the Mustang and am teaching both my 8 and 4 year old how to drive. That's when I learned...... sitting on Daddy's lap. So there it is. I really don't listen to that shaker 1000 much because I love the music my pipes make. I hope I'm not alone. I also had the windows tinted and a 8" antennae. No stickers or crap because I like the looks of it somewhat clean and stealth. What a cool ride we all have, huh guys? Thanks, Mike I've never posted a picture but I'll figure it out soon.
How long did it take you guys to get your car once you ordered it from the dlr. I ordered mine 1-10-07 and cant wait for it to get here...I know it will take like 3-4 months...just wondering how long it took for everyone else. thanks ps I ordered a 07 black gt deluxe, dark charcoal cloth int. IUP, 3.55 axle, manual.

I just ordered my new 07 GT and the dealer said 6 weeks. There is a $1000 rebate for Mustangs purchased before 4/2/07.
Oh baby oh YEAH! Picked up my GT Thursday morning 1/25/07. It's awesome. I have driven it for hours at a time and I can't get over how amazingly comfy it is. My wife even loves it, mostly for the heated seats, but hey whatever. I am expecting a few new parts from Silver Horse Racing, I talked to the owner this week. Good people there, nice stuff. Additions will include billet fuel door and medallion and the sequential tail lights which I think should have been an option on this car. I can't wait until it's broken in so I can beat the hell out of it. I scared an old 'vette today while I was cruising around. I pulled up next to him at around 40 MPH and punched it a little in second. I followed him until we hit a light that just turned yellow as we approached it. He brakes, realizes I just eased over into the other lane and runs the red light to avoid having me pull up next to him, and eventually pulling away from him. What a puss. By the summer, the supercharger will be on and then I will get serious about hunting down some bowtie bozos. Man, it's like 1984 all over again, driving my 550HP BOSS 351 and Pwnin' the vettes in town. God Bless Henry Ford. 'Bout time they got it right. Sha

Nice, you sound as excited as me!
The car in this pic looks black but it's Alloy, right? How did you get it from the factory with the fog lamps inset a bit? Is that part of the GT appearance package?
Yeah it's Alloy, that's why I got it, cos it looks close to black but around here every GT i see is black, so I wanted it a lil different. The grill is a piece you can pick up from Silver Horse Racing, among others, to replace the stock grill. It uses the existing fogs and comes with an extension to get the cables to reach the new location. It was a perfect fit and I didnt even need to re-aim the lights. Total time on the project was about 45 minutes. I like to run with the fogs on only, so it looks tough as hell with just the two lights on close together like that. If you look at my photo gallery you can see the original grill and a pic of the new one, I like the new one, lol.
