today first time in my life i went to track and ran 13.6 with 1.9 60' with my Bone stock stang GT with stock tires!... well l beat 06 GTO's time and on thta run, i raced against a wel modified srt-4 stage 2 (who claims to kill trans ams all the time) and i got him untill the end but i missed the fourth gear and he pput his bumper on me and he ran 13.62 and i ran 13.66.. i am happy with that.. ( if i wouldnt have missed gear, i would have been on 13.4s definetely

i am hoping to dig in low 13s with my stock stang GT with slicks next time.. watch for my posts..

Trying to establish baseline on car before making mods. Always interested in suggestions for modifications.
First time out with '06 GT automatic (900 miles) - 100% stock (even tire pressure) ran 1/4 in 14.226 @ 97.04 MPH. Maryland International Raceway. 80F degree weather. Beat the guy next to me at least.

he ran 14s all day and at his last run he ran 13.8 but seriosuly, that dude had a few miles on the car and he couldnt hook the car off the line.. but yeah, this track experience showed me who i can beat, who i cant.. an auto modified with slicks 04 mach 1 beat me on my last run.. she ran 13.5 but i was happy cuz that mac should have been at least in 12s.. she had, intake, tune, exhaust, x-pipe, drag radials and 13.5s .1 sec faster than my stock stang Gt! and i just found out, i did 13.6 on 2500 evlolution with over 80 dgrees and 87% with missing a gear.. dude i know i am not bad driver at all.. but my car might be factory freak too.. cuz if you translate to sa level and if i wouldnt have missed gear, i migh have ran flat 13 sec. am i right?

also what did you run stone stock with your car?

horrible 60 ft got a 13.8(and no track experience or much seat time at all; a month with the car)

nah, you wouldn't have got a 13.0. . . but stockers in right circumstances can see 13.3's . . . VERY RARE, but can happen

get you a 1.8 60ft, and don't miss any gears, you might have had one

thats an awefully high trap for your time, expecially if you run a 1.9 60ft. . . thats what i get, and i got close to that time, and i was nowhere near 110

even Wally didn't trap that high with a 12.6. . .

im thinking the tracks timing system is messed up that you went to or you missed second and third and theres a bottle in the trunk

Because I'm only running 6lbs of boost and I don't have any slicks, just stock tires. I'm going to the track again on Tuesday night to see if I can get a better time.

I have an automatic. There was a guy there with the same exact car as mine, except his was bone stock and a stick. He kept running in the 14's. I don't think he knows how to launch and shift it properly, because he should have been faster I would think.

Here's my slip. I raced my brother. He's got an 82 Mustang that he dropped a 460 into and did alot of work to. He couldn't get the traction he needed off the line to beat me.

so how do you launch your auto? hit the brake and rev the engine a little and when the light turns green let off the brake? actually you got power to break into 1.8 60' but i would expect you to spin..
