Default Just orderd my 3.55’s tod

Took the car on a 200 mile trip yesterday & it made me make up my mind on the 3.55 3.73 problem bouncing arround in my mind so after running for 100 miles at 90+ i realized I drive to damn fast. & my choice is 1) drive slower 2) put a quieter exhaust on the car or 3) go with the 3.55's as option 1 & 2 are not viable I chose option 3 cant wait to loose the lazy 2.73's

p.s Anyone go fron 2.73'sto 3.55's what does it feel like in the butt dyno

I am thinking I'll get some 3.73s. Is there a big problem though if i have the RAM stock replacement clutch and a 5 speed? I'm pretty sure it'll be honky dory, but need some of you with experience. Ayudame por favor.

Good evening. This ex-chevy nut finally broke down and bought a FAST fox body: 1990 LX 5.0 with lots of mods. Mr. Stealth, I thank you for your reply. I am somewhat unfamiliar with what I just bought. I need seasoned veterans to tell me what they think about this car:

160,000 original miles

gt40 intake manifold

bassani headers / x-pipe (no cats)

Flowmaster mufflers

tremic transmission (new)

b & m short shift

ford racing complete rear w/ 3.73's (new)

new z-rated tires: 245/16 (rear) 225/16 (front)

factory 5-stars

aluminum drive shaft (new)

Pioneer CD and speakers (nice)

FAST and LOUD

Owner was asking $5300

Paid $4000

What do you think?

I am no mechanic - but this car doesn't appear hit at all. It goes to my mechanic tomorow for te final say. The paint is so-so. His girlfriend got pissed a him and put a dent in the left rear quarter with her fist. The interior is immaculate.
