Default Header Gasket

AKA Exaust Manifold Gasket, either way... mine ended up blowing, makeing me have a exaust leak, annoying sound. I have never changed this gasket before so I go to the store and I pick one up, it came in a box with 2 header gaskets and a pair of 2 other things which I need to know what there for. It also came with 2 blue round rings with a radious of I guess 1 inch and 1/2. and 2 things that is the shape of a... ellipse I gues (a longcircle),itsare a little thicker than the gasket has a hole in the center (about a inch wide) and a hole on both sides of it (no bigger than a dime). So anyways, what are those for if anyone has any idea what I am talking about hehe

Not that brand but was shaped like that. I wasn't aware of different quality gaskets, I just went to auto zone and got the oney they had stock for my car. On one side it was a silver like metal, maybe alunimum, and on the other side, was like the material that your thermostat gasket is made of... only way I could realy explain that..

Those are EXHAUST DONUTS and you dont need to concern your self with them. You do however need to go get another pair of gaskets the steel FEL PRO's i hope and a tube of the copper RTV silicone.I chased header leaks all last year and finally i took the two pairs of gaskets sprayed them down with the copper gasket adhesiveput RTV silicone around every port and sandwiched the two gaskets together and bolted them in and after that i have yet to get any leaks.Really worked out great!May sound like a big pain in your ass but so is changing header gaskets.
