05 mustang body kits

I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO DO SOME WORK TO THE BODY OF MY CAR BUT I AM NOT SURE HOW GOOD ARE ALL THESE PARTS BECAUSE THEY USE DOUBLE SIDE TAPE AND THAT'S IT NOTHING ELSE..... DO THEY LAST A LONG TIME?????? BY THE WAY MY CAR IS SILVER AND I FOUND THIS PIC OF A 3D CARBON BODY KIT............ WHAT DO U GUYS THINK???????????IT WILL LOOK NICE ON SILVER AND ALSO WITH CROME BULLITS?????????????

I've never added and type of body mod to my car before but I have used the 3M double sided tape to apply other things before and it holds up pretty well. As far as the material you are putting on the car it can get dinged just like anything else on the car so there is no guarantee on how long it will hold up just like there is no guarantee on how long the rest of the vehicle will hold up, it is all based on the conditions that they are exposed to. It is your vehicle to play around with and do whatever you like, everyone has an opinion on what they think will look good but ultimately it is up to you to make the decision since you are driving it and spending the money on it. One piece of advice for you since you are newbie, you posted your text in all caps and that is normally not polite in a forum as it is the equivalent of shouting. Glad to have you here and I am sure that you will find a ton of great info on this site.

I have the louvars and they've been fine for a month or so now. Most of my driving is on the highway so if they hold on my car you oughta be ok there. Not sure about the hoodscoop, spoiler or the sidescoops though. I think the spoiler and sidescoops might be ok. I think i would want a little more than just the 3m stuff holding on the hood scoop. I think some people have held the scoops in place by installing screws that go from the underside of the hood up into the scoop and hold it in place. Im sure you could do that with the spoiler as well. All in all i think the kit looks ok though.

oh and does that spoiler cover the factory holes in the trunk? If not they will need to be filled.
