A friend has them on his 400 blazer and they sound BAD ASS!I havent seen him since the last show but he was going to go to the electrically controlled cut outs.But i can tell you that they definately sound BAD AS f***!


We had a smoke show at the last show of the year and he did a real nice four wheel drive burnout it hurt your ears it was so loud!

they have been around for about 40 years there great..they will not pass inspection at most place..but hell how many 'stang make it to a shop for an inspection I would have them coated though..I think also you can get a better price than that

No need to have them coated. They hold up fine.


I had them on my old Iroc-z and it sounded f'ing awesome. Everyone looked like this -

i had them on my 87 gt...if you get them just make sure that the shop that puts them on doesnt exit them anywhere neer the gas lines.....mine melted the plastic return line and closed it off completly....thank god it didnt go up.also throw the wingnuts in the trash and put nuts on the bolts.

i had mine on my car for 3 years and they eventualy siezed up,but then again i drove it in the winter also.

im gettin the electronic cutouts form quicktime performance, pain in the rear to get under the car and take em on and off, nothing beats immediate response on a button
