What else has he done to the car? I know he didn't achieve those times with "just" a KB supercharger.

Without any previous knowledge of the project, based on what i have read, hear is my WAG as to what else has been done to the car
4.30+ gears
colder plugs, smaller gap (plugs are $10 each!!)
Full longtubes and exhaust
fuel pump upgrade of some sort
Head porting and new valvesprings, titanium retainers, possibly Titanium intake valves.
rear suspension upgrades to avoid wheelhop

I have a saleen, and if the KB can do that, then the saleen should with the right pulleys and upgrades to match the KB. As I understand it , they both use the same rotors, so the systems must be somewhat close in boos capability and overall efficiency unless there is a restriction to airflow in one unit Vs the other.

The Saleen is a great unit but a local mustang shop here in Dallas that I frequent said the saleens don't react to higher boost as well as the others. They produce great numbers at low boost but for some reason don't react as well as the others to 12+ lbs of boost.

from another site where the owner of this car posts:

Quote:
05 Mustang GT. KB 2.4L Supercharger, JBA Long Tube headers, JBA mufflers, SCT Tuned by Billet Speed.
it's clear there is some suspension work but other than whats listed above thats all thats in there. and stock gears, with 11psi of boost you wouldnt want to run anything but stock gears. oh and he was running drag radials, he has 12.0 runs with street tires.

btw, this is the car from the two guys garage episode with some changes since then, and he's putting down 550hp at the wheels

I've never had them work on mine. Aside of dyno tune which I'm right there the whole time. Have you had problems with them? I've seen a few superchargers they've installed on 05s and they looked pretty good. I guess time will tell and I won't see them then.
