How much to paint body kit??

Hi im about to purchase my body kit for my mustang and I was wondering how much it cost other people to get their body kits painted. Also did you get your kit painted while it was on or off your car?? Thank You!

how much of a body kit are you putting on? Just front bumper/rear bumper? Or side skirts, rear spoiler, new hood, etc? If its more then just a front and rear bumper.. your looking at just about the same amount to paint the whole vehicle honestly..

You paint it before it goes onto the car.. and it all depends on how good of a job you want and were you go..

My front bumper to be painted and my hood repainted. Cost me 800 at my uncle shop with a discount. So i dono how much but probably more than that if you take it too a good shop

Depends on the color - most colors will require the parts to be installed on the car so the painter can do a "blend" onto the main body parts to cover up a slight mis-match of color. Its very hard to get colors exact - most shops won't gaurantee and EXACT match, therefore they recommed blending into the other body parts.

I always prefer my parts to be OFF the car to avoid all the overspray potential - but then again a take that chance of not having a perfect match. So far I've been lucky on my front and rear fascia on my '05. Had to have both pulled off and repaired of factory flaws.

OK i called Macco and its gonna be $200 to paint the front & rear bumper and side skirts. And they match my factory yellow too! Sweet!!

its cute 5, i like how it still rides with the flow and gives a custom look. as for maaco, make sure u get a good package... you may as well just get the whole car painted for another 250 LOL.. get extra clear coat too!
