Default 95 GTS upgrade... HELP

I have a 95 GTS and am lookin to do some upgrades. I have underdrive pulleys and a 185 or 190*thermastat. I'm probably gonna go with Hooker Aero chambers for exhaust but other than that i'm not sure what to do. I would like to do an air intake system, maybe cam, heads, headers, throttle body, manifold intake... i just want to make sure everything goes well with my other add ons. I don't want to do the typical flowmasters, H-pipe, GT-40's and cobra intake. If some of those are the best offered i would be down but i want to have a different sound and radical performance. I'm on a 2,500 to 3,000 dollar budget. i would like to start with the cheeper stuff and once i get goin buy the bigger ticket items... just dont' want to by parts twice so i want to do it right from the start. Any advise would be very appreciated. thanks</P>

you might want to look into the proven kits by TrickFlow and Holley both kits sell for around 2200 and claim to make around 350hp.
