Invested about 14k into that car, rebuilding the motor, tranny, painting it twice, reupholstering entire interior, 2 convertible tops, 8 tires, 2 drag radials, new windows, new windshield, entire OEM suspension replacement,  floor pans, stereo, ENTIRE brake system...

Car was a beauty, but it wouldn't pass emissions, was 6 times over the limit for NOX emissions, couldn't get it down. MA wouldn't give me a 2 year waiver (needs to be within 3 times the legal limit), everyone was interesting in buying it but wouldn't be able to get it inspected, so I swallowed 14k and traded her in. Saw her on E-bay about a month later.

jesus mr hotrodman are you rich?

hehe damn nice cars :) love the Chevelle.  Don't like the look of the early 80's stangs too much tho. Only one that appeals to me are the SVO's.  I Just think the others look horribly ugly(the front) But the 87-93 body is most likely one of my favorites. A shame I don't have any before/after pics :( just a NOW pic... which prolly most of you have seen
