Hey everybody! I finally got my 90 vert gt over christmas. I went to install a kenwood in dash
cd player. I got power but no sound. I read through old posts and see a lot about factory amp
systems. Well, I have one. I found the amp and unhooked two grey square plugs. I think one
of the square plugs goes to the speakers and uses individual grounds. I can't tell if I can now use
the factory rectangular 8 plugs or if I need a different harness to link into the square after amp
plugs! Could anyone tell me which way to go on this and/or which harness to use?
Thanks alot and pics to come soon! -90VertGt-

Oh yeah, I looked at amp bypass harness and amp integration harnesses already.
I know I don't want the amp hooked up, so the integration harness won't help.
The bypass harnesses I've seen seem to just have a long set of speaker wires
that run to the speaker. I'm hoping to plug into either the rectangular factory
plugs or into the square plug that goes into the factory amp. This square plug
seems to go to the speakers. I can't find a harness to fit the square plus for
an 87-93 stang. Help! -90vertgt-

If I were u I would just run new wires to each corner of the car. Or run the wires for all 4 speakers to where the factory amp was and make the connections there.
