Hello Mustang Folk,

I now own a 1988 Dark-Metallic-Blue Mustang LX Hatchback 5.0 liter HO 5 Speed. I’ve been a Chevy man most of my life and I’m sooooo glad I rediscovered Ford. What a car. It’s so far superior to anything GM ever made. What a beauty. It’s fully loaded and…everything works. I can’t believe this car was an off-the-line “production” model.

Here’s a question for you all. This Mustang rides like a skate board. Stiff, stiff, stiff and tight, tight, tight. I’d like to “soften” the ride. Does anyone have experience in this or is it  just going to be stiff, forever? There are adjustable air shock bags on the rear, but they don’t seem to help, at any or no inflation. Any ideas?
