I got a radio set (AM/FM/Cassette reciever, CD player) from a 2000 V6 Mustang that belongs to a friend on here. I'm attempting to wire it into an old BMW 318i and have nearly no way of doing so without hard wiring it in there or finding someone with a junked 99-00 car with the same radio that I could get the various harnesses from.

1) Does anyone have a 99-00 parts car with the twin stereo system that could get me the harnesses?

2) Does could anyone give me the color code of the wires and each pin they go into?

I have figured out where 2 of the 4 plugs go to on the back of the reciever and 1 of the 2 in the CD player. I will show a picutre later on to clarify, but I believe that on the main reciever, the tallest plug is for an amplifier, and the stack of three are as follows (top to bottom, last two are guesses): CD player in, 4 speakers out, power in.

Could anyone help me out here? Thanks.

its not worth the trouble to put all that work into using a factory deck. just get a cheap aftermarket and wire it in atleast it will work right.

I understand the trouble of it... hence why I'm attempting a factory BMW radio that I got at a junkyard today (hopefully I can get the security code alright).

I was interested in finding factory harnesses for the Mustang stereo simply because it was free and has AM/FM/Cassette/CD.

Sooo... if anyone can help me out with that, I'm still up for it!

i dont think anyone is going to hack up thier wirinig harness to let you use. you can probaly buy one for 50-100 bucks and probaly never get it to work right.

That's not what I'm asking... I'm asking if anyone knows where I can find a wrecked 2000 with this stereo, or happens to have picture of the wiring harnesses to show what wires match to which plugs.
