I've been in the market for an SVO for a little bit and there's one down the street from me now.  I've posted about this already but just need to ask something. 

What would the average price on this car be? It's a 1984 Mustang SVO looks purely stock.  Some minor body work is needed but everything else looks like its in good shape.  Havn't had the chance to look at the engine or anything because I can never get ahold of the dealer.  From peeking inside I see it has around 100k Miles on it.  But I know its an 84 because of the single exhaust and the Console switches, it has three(Amplifier, Fog Lights, Fuel Switch) and 84 is the only year with 3.

So say the engine is in good shape, how much would a car like this go for?  I think my friend said he asked him and he was saying around $2300

I was thinking $1,000 plus around a $1,000 trade in (91 LX 4cyl with 140,000 miles but runs flawless and is in good shape(body wise and interior).  Only a small rip in driver seat, and missing some of the plastic driver side door handle( can still be opened from driver side with partial handle, it just broke in the cold one day).

Bah, nevermind.  He's wanting more then I want to pay for it.  $2,700

Guess I'll stick to my 91 and just save up for my new engine for my 92GT
