Default help with mods for new stang o

Hello all...I just found this site and I am hoping that I can learn a lot of information from you guys. I have been in love with the fox body mustangs ever since my uncle bought his 88 navy blue/gray gt new. Well, I finally found an 87 lx 5.0 that I could pick up real cheap because it needs body work and paint badly. Since I bought it, I have brought the front fenders back to shape and have them in a good coat of primer sealer and have both doors when I get time to replace them as well as a good used hatch. I installed a 4 inch cobra svo hood on it as well and found a set of pony wheels to replace the ugly 15 inch wheels with all of the holes in them. Ok, now I found a guy who is parting out a 93 lx 5.0 and bought a set of full length headers and bought a set of mac copper gaskets for them, hopefuly can install soon. I just bought a set of richmond 373 gears and a full rear end rebuild kit as well. Now here's my question, I also bought the ecu and maf sensor as well as the tubing and air box from teh 93 as well as the full harness that runs into the ecu from the maf. Should I take the time to install this on my car? Would it enhance the performance of my mustang or just be a waste of time, cause it looks pretty involved and kinda scares me...Also, what kind of gains can I expect from my new full tube headers and gears, as well as a borla cat back already on the car and a custom h pipe that a friend of mine who owns a muffler shop is going to make for me? The exhaust is really quiet even with the borla cat back, will it sound much better with the headers and h pipe? Oh yea, I took teh intake silencer off already and that helped some in teh sound department, you can really hear the intake opening now! thanks for any help and advice guys...

honestly on a stock motor. a SD car is faster then a MAF car. once you start going h/i/c then use the MAF setup

Is this all that there is to teh swap though, just replace the existing wire harness and ecu with the maf one? Will everything match up ok and not leave a bunch of work fabricating or looking for other parts?

i didnt think the harness from a 93 would work since it has an airbag, hence you'll have to get one from an 89
