You need to add, Mustang GT, alive and well over 40 years thanks to the sales of the V6. And I'm from both sides of the fence, I used to own a 5.0 V8. My love for stangs is for all types.

actually i think i have a pretty good rep around here and at other forums. its idiots like you (ricers or drivers of mom's v8) that like to come here and stir the pot because you are jealous. the v6 platform we be here long after the v8 is dead and buried! oh yea thanks for calling me sir! this was one of the first forums i started coming to and because of narrow minded people like you its now one of the last. its a shame this place had much potential. i don't even post tsb's here any more.

I dont think it can generate something that complex. Think what you want...its cheaper power than everyone else, it sells itself.
My information is based on fact, both current and past statistics prove it. I love all stangs, but I can tell you this, if the GT was the only stang produced in 05 (and going forward) we would see the end of the car we love. In addition, I have a friend who works for ford that also verified my research.

Yes, the 6er keeps the GT alive past generations. The general split was 30% sold were GTs, 70% 6ers. This year though it was 70% GT, 30% 6er. Must be the fog lamps. =p

Although, I felt it "out of place" by the time I saw this thread... I didn't see any "harm done" either... so while reading nd thinking if I wanted to move it to the V8 section or delte it all together, I think I'll leave it here for a bit longer just to see if people are truly able to carry on a conversation without bashing.
Now... I would suggest maybe making some 4.0 banners.. or V6 Banners.
The 05/06 V6 is a GREAT car... 4.0 is a GREAT engine. Don't be dissing them!
I'll leave this here a while longer - if it stays in control I'll leave it.. if it gets out of control I'll make it vanish as any good wizard should do!

Threads like this have no place here and it needs to be nuked. It adds nothing to the discussion and only causes problems. I don't go to the GT forum and try to start crap. Your first idea was correct, it should be deleted.
