I use WD-40 to clean/remove wax residue from black plastic peices. This would probably work just as well for your need. It cleans it down to the original dull finish, so you'll want to apply some shine back to it (armoral, macguires, etc..) once its cleaned.

Are you sure they are stained from the armoral, or did the armoral just protect and enhance the stain?? Sounds like wax residue under armoral to me. Strip it off/clean it with WD-40 and it will back to black

not sure... i wax the car every so often but iam prety sure i didn't get any on chin spoiler.. but iam sure wax still somehow got on it.. because my windshields and class on the car is always water proof after i wax the car for some reason. and i didn't touch any of the glass parts with the wax.

i'll try your WD-40 and see if it does the trick. i kinda feel nervous about spraying that stuff so close to my paint. i remember getting WD residue all over my glass once trying to fix the squeeks from rolling up and down the windows.

Apply the WD-40 to a rag, don't spray it on the part near the car

Meguiars NXT Protectant works great. Just put it on very lightly.
