Default Quater window moldings

I was looking for the moldings for the rear windows and found em for 65 bucks. Its not that bad but does anyone know where i can find them? New... and cheaper than that?

Default Quater window moldings



Have you seen a mustang with those moldings. I think they are hideous, i was going to buy them until I saw them on a mustang, They stick out like a 1/4 of an inch, and they draw more attention to them than the etched up ones you have. I had a body man tape off the car, sand them lightly and painted black, there not perfect but about a thousand times better than before. But that's just my 2 cents. Themoldings i've seen weremade by i think steeda. </P>

steeda s is just for hatches (i belive), not coupes <IMG src=smileys/smiley6.gif border="0">, all ive done people have just complemented , where did they stick out ? just curious </P><edited><editID>n2o44</editID><editDate>38019.1851157407</editDate></edited>

They stuck out all over but mainly right at the top edge where it meets the molding from over the door. The Stock just flows together with no high spots.All the ones ihave seen was steeda, i have not seen any other brands, but they try to make the ends look rounded but sticks out more than a 1/4 of an inch. if there is another company out there that make them better, I'd buy them if I could see a upclose picture of them on .</P>

I just restore the rubber..by using paints and primers..mine turn out great alot of work buy nice

50 resto doesn't have them, i might try sanding em and painting them black again. What kinda paint would work best?

paint is a good idea because 65 dololars is pretty cheap for thoose. www.cal-mustang.com
