Default What should i do??

I have a 1991 GT 5 speed close enuf to stock. I want it to be a daily driver capable of pulling low 12's. like the rest of the world i am on a budget, but i also dont want to cheap out on parts that will break if i can get better ones. The motor has 104000 miles on it same as the tranny. I was thinking about dropping a new motor? or rebuilding? same fer the tranny. I am really kinda clueless as to where to start and what is my best route to take? any help would be great thanks!

All the usual bolt-ons, and gears, along with a good H/C/I setup should get you there with traction.

spray will be the cheapest results and should get you close to your goal.

pulleys
exhaust
1.7 rockers
76mm+ maf
put the car on a 100 pound diet
lighter wheels
syth oils..

331 stroker (rebuild the engine while doing it), edelbrock air gap manifold, road demon carb, other stuff needed to convert to carb (like new fuel pump and linkages), trick flow track heat heads, 1.7 rockers, trick flow stage 2 cam, gears, slicks, tremec TKO (or equivalent AOD), longtubes to o/r x-pipe, and delete all emissions sh*t. that should do it <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"></P>
