I have a 92 notch back right now, its got 270000 km (168000miles), the body is mint same with the interior, ive had people ask if i have had it restord. the engine tranny and diff have never bin pulled apart besides putting new gears and clutch, the cars got lots of bolt ons and nitrous. it runs perfect, doesent burn oil. the miles are mostly highway and the car gets it oil changed every 2 months. so the thing im wondering is should i keep the car and put more money into it like new wheels and tires, hood maybe a supercharger and stop running nitrous, or sell the car and find one that has low miles and already supercharged? would love to here any thoughts.thanks
How much do you want to sell it for, I'd be happy to take it off of your hands. Go rebuild the engine, it doesn't even have to be forged to run low boost. You can get a nice non-forged 306 rebuild kit for like $350.

everyone can tell you what they would do, just make sure you only do what you really want to do. im sure you have a strong connection to that car, and dont feel you have to get rid of it because of the miles. i would do a semi-restoration. ie- polyuratane bushing kit, shocks and struts, springs, ignition, and whatever else isnt in great shape. then, either get a crate engine or rebuild the engine that was in it. the whole thing can easily be done for less than $1500
sounds like you have a couple of takers on buying it. because notch backs are in demand and it can be truly fast. It's worth keeping for the body. stick a new engine and strip down the old one. make money to pay for the new engine.

^^ Agreed. Like I said before, you make me want to paint my car purple lol. But anyway, keep the car. Start saving now and just drive it until the motor goes and than do a rebuild or buy a new motor. Thats what I would do. Like mkspeed26 said, dont feel like you have to sell the car because of the miles. Thats stupid. KEEP IT
ya try hitting 12 when spining in 3rd its not that fun, if i had some slicks or even good tires 12 would be eazy. the car ran a 14 flat at 99.6 mph the first time out on motor.
thats a good idea the shocks struts and shocks have bin done and the ignition 2 so i only have to do the motor, but i wouldent pull it all apart for no reason the thing funs to good and strong.
