Sidewayz6.0 12-21-2005, 05:31 PM I learned my lesson getting excited about a car they say they're going to build. When I saw the concept of the '05 Mustang GT I was about ready to run to the nearest dealer and leave a deposit. And look what we got. A ****ty looking production model. They changed every single thing I actually liked about the concept, and f'ed it up on the production model. So, I'll wait to see what it looks like before I lube up my johnson and start stroking. BWAHAHAHA!!! good advice!:D i personaly preffer the 05 the way it to the original concept. blackhorse05 12-21-2005, 08:42 PM wow, i really like that, i think i would really want one *Blk_96_Stang_GT* 12-21-2005, 09:02 PM Yea i prefer the production model mustang to the concept. I personally dont like the look of the challenger, i think the GTO looks better, not more like the old model but better looking. Vash the Stampede 12-21-2005, 09:24 PM man that looks good... looks like iam going to have to grow back out my mullet. AdderMk2 12-21-2005, 11:57 PM i would get one if... #1. i liked dodge cars at all.. (which i dont) #2. wasnt madly in love with my Cobra! #3. (as stated above) had a mullet. otherwise.... i think it looks very nice... its about time dodge did SOMETHING right 757GT 12-22-2005, 04:19 PM I like it, I would consider buying one. Ride Of The Month 12-22-2005, 05:19 PM mullet? its a challenger, not a camaro... Dan04COBRA 12-22-2005, 08:09 PM Ohohohoh that is sexy. Myskobol7 12-28-2005, 09:01 PM Chrysler most def did a great job on design with this mellletmobile, It's about time they have a great car in the charger as well it's hot but it doesnt look like a charger they should make that 2 door design Acer2428 12-28-2005, 11:08 PM ORIGINAL: Myskobol7 Chrysler most def did a great job on design with this mellletmobile, It's about time they have a great car in the charger as well it's hot but it doesnt look like a charger they should make that 2 door design You're making fun of rednecks, yet you didn't spell "mellet" right, hahaha. Anyways, that car is HOT! Sidewayz6.0 12-29-2005, 12:44 AM How is this for Redneck?? Real Mullet Mobile! If I was in the market I would certainly look it over. A lot of people don't buy a brand but a model. Truth be told I HATE FORDS! Always have! Found On Road Dead... you know the rest. I actually owned a disaster Ford called the EXP. Worst car I've ever touched. I would buy Chevy, Chrysler, imports before a FORD. By the way, my '06 GT, 5 speed does not have any blue ovals on it.:D ratzila 12-29-2005, 04:38 PM Here is more info on the challenger http://www.allpar.com/cars/dodge/challenger.html BlkWidow 12-29-2005, 04:44 PM Dodge stayed true to the concept with the Ram SRT-10 - hopefully they'll do the same with the Challenger. They need to do something to soften the lines of that dash, though. It's a little too retro. Other than that, it completely rocks. I'll take mine in PlumCrazy.:D BrookShadow_RC 12-29-2005, 06:17 PM Other than that, it completely rocks. I'll take mine in PlumCrazy. Oooo, then I'll have mine in Sassy Green! Sidewayz6.0 12-29-2005, 06:51 PM Pfft...Chick colors. I want Go-Mango! With the blacked out power bulge hood, and a flat black bumble bee stripe....Yeah. Thats just how I want it. Or Sublime Green. Either will be fine. Ride Of The Month 12-29-2005, 07:02 PM E bodies should have only come in one color... plum crazy. :) 757GT 12-29-2005, 07:17 PM ORIGINAL: Ride Of The Month E bodies should have only come in one color... plum crazy. :) Damn right! I want a plum crazy one. Ride Of The Month 12-29-2005, 07:28 PM yep..something like this...:) local://upfiles/4/C684B6FF75E44E5F8EAE80A4B3B05EC4.jpg Sidewayz6.0 12-29-2005, 07:35 PM http://www.aarta.com/pictures/images/ta/ek2/ta_ek2_v1x_04.jpg Ride Of The Month 12-29-2005, 07:37 PM thats the parking lot of the watler p chrysler museum...the proving grounds are directly behidn the car, about a half mile or so... i like that too, especially with the 340...:) Sidewayz6.0 12-29-2005, 07:39 PM I love that color on that car. I absolutely would have paid the $14 for the hi impact colors!! Juntech 01-06-2006, 07:07 PM ORIGINAL: HC_CrAzYHoRsE BWAHAHAHA!!! good advice!:D i personaly preffer the 05 the way it to the original concept. Hell yea the original concept was too sleek n/a_threat 01-08-2006, 01:21 AM That actually looks really good. I'm very impressed. NoOriginalNamesLeft 01-08-2006, 03:21 AM I too much prefer the 2005 production model to the concept, particularly the hood. But that challenger concept, I could soil myself with delight that thing's so damn good looking. badtzmaru 01-08-2006, 03:30 AM I am not going to get my hopes high on a company that fugged up the Charger............the pics look nice on the Challenger but we will see. If so, then make mine pink bishes.........[:@] marx91 01-08-2006, 02:44 PM that car looks damn good, i'd love to see it go into production FoMoCo_Jeppe 01-09-2006, 08:34 PM [sm=jawdrop.gif] i like it Ride Of The Month 01-10-2006, 02:44 PM Dodge Challenger Specs Specifications: Length: 197.8" (5025 mm) Wheelbase: 116.0" (2945mm) Front Overhang: 38.9" (989mm) Width: 78.6" (1997mm) Height: 57.0" (1449mm) Track, Frt/Rr: 64.0"/65.1" Couple: 31.5" (800mm) Color: Exterior: Challenger Orange Interior: Black Key Performance Attributes: 0-60 mph: 4.5 seconds 60-0 ft: 133 ft. Very old school. But, as far as I'm concerned, the new GTO, new 'Camaro' (if this month's MT is to be believed), and it have all 'copied' the 'Stang by 'going retro'. And to think I hated J Mays' 'Stang when it came out. Shame on me. I'd still love an '04 Cobra, though. Hmmmmmmm...how about a remake of 'Bullitt' with the new 'Stang and new Dodge? Ride Of The Month 02-04-2006, 12:50 AM dodge has already used that in a bunch of ad campaigns with the charger sedan...oddly enough the big pig beats the stang in quite a few categories...:D Black Mamba 02-05-2006, 02:45 AM After seeing the first spy shots some time ago, my wife and I decided that if the car is ever produced, it will definitely be added to our collection, right beside the Mustang. No doubt. The car is beautiful. ThisBlood147 02-15-2006, 01:50 AM ORIGINAL: Ride Of The Month dodge has already used that in a bunch of ad campaigns with the charger sedan...oddly enough the big pig beats the stang in quite a few categories...:D Only the SRT-8 would beat a new GT on the road (and I don't just mean in a straight line either). I know this cuz I've raced my neighbor in his new Charger Hemi more than a few times, and except for once when I dumped the clutch at too high a rev and left powder all over the road......he has always lost. Those things are HEAVY. They would need about 415 to 420 HP to compete with the revived pony cars. Oddly enough tho, if I had need for a more practical 4 door car.......I would gladly take one in black. As far as the Challenger, I hope it sees production in its concept form. If for no other reason than to piss off all the rice brand fans who HATE retro Detroit designs. hehehe. I would be glad to park one next to my mustang in the driveway. Here's to hoping they are still in production when I pay off my 05 in 4 years.[8D] |
