I too much prefer the 2005 production model to the concept, particularly the hood. But that challenger concept, I could soil myself with delight that thing's so damn good looking.

I am not going to get my hopes high on a company that fugged up the Charger............the pics look nice on the Challenger but we will see. If so, then make mine pink bishes.........
That Challenger looks baaaaad as f£$k. Very old school. But, as far as I'm concerned, the new GTO, new 'Camaro' (if this month's MT is to be believed), and it have all 'copied' the 'Stang by 'going retro'. And to think I hated J Mays' 'Stang when it came out. Shame on me. I'd still love an '04 Cobra, though.
Hmmmmmmm...how about a remake of 'Bullitt' with the new 'Stang and new Dodge?
After seeing the first spy shots some time ago, my wife and I decided that if the car is ever produced, it will definitely be added to our collection, right beside the Mustang. No doubt. The car is beautiful.
dodge has already used that in a bunch of ad campaigns with the charger sedan...oddly enough the big pig beats the stang in quite a few categories...
Only the SRT-8 would beat a new GT on the road (and I don't just mean in a straight line either). I know this cuz I've raced my neighbor in his new Charger Hemi more than a few times, and except for once when I dumped the clutch at too high a rev and left powder all over the road......he has always lost. Those things are HEAVY. They would need about 415 to 420 HP to compete with the revived pony cars. Oddly enough tho, if I had need for a more practical 4 door car.......I would gladly take one in black.
As far as the Challenger, I hope it sees production in its concept form. If for no other reason than to piss off all the rice brand fans who HATE retro Detroit designs. hehehe. I would be glad to park one next to my mustang in the driveway. Here's to hoping they are still in production when I pay off my 05 in 4 years.
