dude, SVO totally. the one you are looking at has 200 HP stock. its easy to get stuff for them. not as easy as the 5oh, but still not too bad. most of the parts used on the SVOs were used on later ford models. calipers, engine, interior parts, taillights, foglights, etc. plus, you dont have to touch the suspension. its the best handling mainstream mustang ever made. (not including the "R" models). and they are worth much more than what people say. and will become more valuable as time goes on. theyre one of the forgotten stangs, yet they were awesome. the 85.5s are worth more, but not by much. the only real diff of the 85.5 is that they have 205 HP. thats about it. does this car have A/C, radio? tell us if it is missing any "normal" interior things. it might be a comp prep. if so, its worth a ton more. if not, its still an SVO. they only made a few hundred comp prep models. does it have dual exhaust? how bout the bi-spoiler? go with the SVO. it will be a smash hit at the shows and it will be wicked fun on the streets. not many people even know what an SVO is, much less have seen one, or even seen how they handle. SVO, itll be worth much more than the GT in years to come. and PLEASE. IF YOU GUYS DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, SAY THAT YOU ARENT TOTALLY SURE. I DONT THINK IVE HEARD THIS MUCH B.S. IN A THREAD THIS SMALL BEFORE! yes, ALL SVOs had intercoolers. its one of the main diffs between the turbo gts and the SVOs. 84 SVO had 175HP, 210TQ. 85 had 200HP and 240TQ. 85.5 had 205HP and 248TQ. 86 was same as 85. 84s had the 3.42 rears, the rest had the 3.73s. the 84s had a .63 trim turbo. the rest were .48 trim. the 84s had a high volume fuel pump, 30# injectors, diff ECU, small VAM. the rest had smaller fuel pump, 35# injectors, better ECU, bigger VAM. 84s had single, dual tip exhaust, rest had duals. 85 and up had the bi-spoiler delete option. 85.5/86 had flush headlights.
